Short-Range Rocket Attack on Northwestern Regional Military Headquarters Kills Two Officers, Injures Ten

On the night of June 14, at around 10 p.m., the joint defense forces fired three short-range rockets inside the Northwestern Regional Military Headquarters (NaMaKa) based in Monywa, Sagaing Region.
Due to the recent rocket attacks, the military operation office and training office buildings inside the Northwestern Regional Military headquarters were hit, resulting in damage to two offices inside the buildings.
In addition, the fuel warehouse and ammunition warehouse also caught fire, and the senior officer’s residence was hit, resulting in the deaths on the spot of two senior officers and three other soldiers in the battle.
Additionally, three more officers and seven other soldiers were injured and are currently receiving treatment at the military clinic.
The attack was carried out under the lead of the BWM, with the Shadow (Monywa), Shwe Teegan Alliance forces, and the Justice Brothers Force jointly participating in the attack.
